If you’re looking for a good spot for lunch or a few drinks ashore whilst cruising the French Riviera, its often very convenient to drop anchor and await a tender service rather than use your own, which may not be suited for a beach landing.
Club 55 – Saint Tropez
Not too far around the coast from Saint Tropez, Club 55 is a prestigious yet simple and authentic. A famous hangout for celebrities, the club occasionally features live music and their crisp 55 rosé wine is perfect for lounging in the sun just before lunch.
Paloma Beach – Saint Jean Cap Ferrat
With clear turquoise waters the beach is idyllic for a great cocktail. The family friendly location is also perfect for swimming and snorkelling. The restaurant specialises in delightful Mediterranean food. The pontoon nearby offers easy access with the restaurants tender.
Anjuna – Eze Sur Mer
A relaxed, surf themed locale offering delectable local and gourmet food including seafood and an exhaustive wine list. The restaurant is set up to be reminiscent of an Indian Ocean theme, with brightly coloured tables, Indonesian statues and tropical plants.
Plage Mala – Monaco
Offering stunning French cuisine for both lunch and in the evening during the Summer, Plage Mala also features a sheltered beach and a relaxation area with a spa. Enjoy a cocktail or two and pamper yourself with a massage before heading back onboard the yacht.
Solenzara Beach – Roquebrune Cap-Martin
Anchor in the bay here between Roquebrune and Menton and have the beach tender come pick you up. Truly family friendly, with swings and a playground, there is also live music with great Mediterranean food.
